Community Meditation Classes

As part of the council’s Health Sunshine Coast Program, I offer low cost classes once a month in the Maroochy Botanic Gardens at Tanawha. Check the events section of my facebook page for dates. These classes have a different topic and meditation each month including:

  • About mindfulness and meditation
  • Breathing techniques
  • Body relaxation exercises
  • Tips for managing thoughts
  • Sensory awareness skills
  • Methods to accept, process and release emotions
  • Includes a handout and access to online meditations

Introduction to Mindfulness & Meditation 

This is Australia’s number one in-person mindfulness course that I faciliate on behalf of Mindfulness Works. Check their website for dates, locations and to register.

Mindfulness and meditation classes and programs can be tailored for different demographics, industries, venues and locations. A venue can be hired on your behalf if you don’t have suitable space on your premises. I am available to facilitate classes and programs on the Sunshine Coast, as well as virtually via my Webinar platform. Mindfulness Meditation for Beginners Program

This program can be tailored for groups or organisations with shorter sessions over 8 weeks or longer sessions over 6 weeks, depending on time available and location. It is comprehensive but easy to follow and includes everything you need to establish a mindfulness meditation practise to develop physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Topics include:

  1. About mindfulness and how to implement it into every day life)
  2. About meditation, it’s benefits, how it works, posture, position, equipment
  3. Breathing techniques to reduce anxiety and stress and increase focus and clarity
  4. Sensory awareness tools to enhance every day experiences
  5. Body relaxation exercises to enhance physical wellbeing
  6. Managing thoughts to reduce rumination and worry
  7. Emotional awareness to become more self accepting
  8. Action plan to help you establish a practice)
